These Terms of Use govern your use of the From The Glass mobile application and website. By using From The Glass, you agree to these terms.
Purpose of the app
From The Glass is a hockey shift-tracking utility intended to help parents, guardians, coaches, and spectators record player shifts and basic game events.
It is not an official scoring, statistics, medical, safety, recruiting, or eligibility system.
User responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of information you enter, retain, or share through the app.
You are also responsible for obtaining any permission required before entering or sharing information about another person, including a minor.
Acceptable use
You may not use From The Glass to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or misrepresent another person
- Attempt to interfere with the app, website, or associated services
- Use the service for unlawful or fraudulent activity
Ownership
From The Glass, including its name, branding, interface, website, and original software, is owned by its developer and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These terms do not grant permission to copy, distribute, reverse engineer, resell, or create derivative commercial products from the app or its branding except where applicable law expressly permits it.
User content
You retain responsibility for information you enter into the app and summaries you choose to share.
You grant no ownership of that information to From The Glass merely by using the app.
Availability and changes
The app and website may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued. Features may change over time.
We do not guarantee that iCloud synchronization, internet access, device services, or third-party platforms will always be available.
No professional or official advice
From The Glass provides general tracking tools only. Information produced by the app should not be treated as official game records, professional coaching advice, medical guidance, or a guarantee of athletic performance or opportunity.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, From The Glass is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every intended purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of From The Glass will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the app or website.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, liability will be limited to the amount paid for the app, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Apple
If the app is distributed through Apple's App Store, Apple is not responsible for operating, maintaining, or supporting From The Glass except as required by Apple's own terms.
Your use of the App Store and Apple services is also subject to Apple's applicable terms.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may restrict access to the website or future services when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect security, or comply with law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use as the app or applicable requirements change. The current terms will be posted on this page with their effective date.
